In this course learning to work with transgender and gender diverse clients, Providers will be trained on gender-affirming care & trans-competency through addressing:

• identity and gender politics

• language

• marginalized communities and intersectionality

• inclusive intake forms

• current barriers around care

• trauma informed care

• caring for bodies that don't fit the mold

• how to create an environment and hold space for vulnerable populations

• In addition, we will also address and craft treatment plans with specific issues related to gender affirming procedures/ surgeries and working with clients on hormone replacement therapy (HRT)

  At this unique time in history, there is a tremendous need for competent providers serving gender diverse communities. This course will provide you with the tools you need to feel confident expanding your practice to include those outside of the gender binary system.
