In this course learning to work with transgender, gender diverse and other marginalized clientele, Providers will be trained on gender-affirming care & trans-competency through addressing:

• identity and gender politics

• language

• marginalized communities and intersectionality

• inclusive intake forms

• current barriers around care

• trauma informed care

• caring for bodies that don't fit the mold

• how to create an environment to hold space for vulnerable populations

• In addition, we will also address and craft treatment plans with specific topics related to gender affirming procedures/ surgeries and working with clients on hormone replacement therapy (HRT)

  At this unique time in history, now more than ever there is a tremendous need for competent providers serving & supporting gender diverse communities. This course will provide you with the tools you need to feel confident expanding your practice to include those outside of the gender binary system.
